2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE



These Terms of Service (hereinafter "TOS") govern the use of the Spacelite software, an upmixing software that processes up to 4 stereo buses to 16 bus outputs with sub management for a total of 24 outputs.

These TOS apply to any use of the Spacelite software, available for download on our website for macOS and Windows platforms.



3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION



Spacelite is a standalone software that enables:

  • Upmixing of up to 4 stereo buses
  • Management of 16 bus outputs
  • Sub management functionality
  • A total of 24 external audio outputs

The software is offered in two versions:

  • Trial version: Free use limited to 60 days
  • Full version: Paid license for unlimited use


4. ACCESS AND USE CONDITIONS



4.1 Technical requirements



  • Compatible with macOS and Windows
  • Internet connection required for license activation
4.2 License of use



The acquisition of Spacelite grants the user a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the software.



4.3 Usage restrictions



It is strictly prohibited to:

  • Modify, decompile or reverse engineer the software
  • Distribute, resell or rent the software
  • Use the software for illegal purposes
  • Circumvent protection and licensing systems
5. FINANCIAL CONDITIONS



5.1 Price


Spacelite software is offered at the price of €250 including VAT (single license).



5.2 Payment terms


Payment is made online via the payment methods offered on our website.



5.3 Refund policy


No refunds are granted after purchase and license activation, except in cases provided for by law.

The 60-day trial version allows you to test the software before purchase.




6. LICENSE VALIDATION AND MANAGEMENT



6.1 Activation


License activation requires:

  • A valid email address
  • An internet connection
  • Hardware configuration identification
6.2 Data collected


As part of license validation, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Hardware address
  • Platform type (macOS/Windows)
  • IP address (temporarily, not stored)

This data is used exclusively for:

  • License validation
  • Technical problem resolution
  • Customer support improvement
6.3 Data storage


  • Contact data (email address) is stored on our Odoo hosting service for license and customer support management
  • Other technical data (hardware address, platform type, license) is stored on our internal servers
6.4 Data protection


We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with GDPR. Data is not transmitted to third parties and is securely hosted on our infrastructure and Odoo platform.




7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT

We strive to respond promptly to support requests regarding:

  • Installation problems
  • Usage questions
  • Technical malfunctions


8. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES


8.1 Warranties


The software is provided "as is". We guarantee that the software conforms to its description at the time of delivery.



8.2 Liability limitations


Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the software acquisition. We cannot be held responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Data loss
  • Business interruptions


8.3 User obligations


The user undertakes to:

  • Use the software in accordance with its intended purpose
  • Perform regular data backups
  • Maintain the confidentiality of license information



9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY


The Spacelite software and all its elements (source code, interface, documentation) are protected by copyright and remain the exclusive property of Digital Audio Manufacture.

No transfer of intellectual property rights is granted by these TOS.




10. TERMINATION



10.1 Termination by user


The user may cease using the software at any time without notice.



10.2 Termination by publisher


We reserve the right to terminate software access in case of:

  • Non-compliance with these TOS
  • Fraudulent use
  • Infringement of our intellectual property rights


11. TOS MODIFICATIONS


We reserve the right to modify these TOS at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication on our website.

It is the user's responsibility to regularly consult the TOS to become aware of any modifications.



12. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION


These TOS are subject to French law.

In case of dispute, and after failure of any amicable resolution attempt, French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
